MATH 3351

Absolutely stay away from this man. This stuff only applies to Jinbo Ren (the other profs are normal and don't require proofs). First of all his lectures are very unclear, and the examples he does in class are very basic. Then comes the homework, with such insanely hard problems that each take at least 1-2 hours if you're lucky. His homework was all long and hard proofs (required proof-writing experience from MATH 3000, which I did not have). His take-home tests are just as long as the homework but the difference is that you get 2 days compared to a week for the same amount of time. The only saving grace is that everything (including the final) is groupwork and that he won't let you fail the class no matter what. But absolutely not worth, regret every second in that class.
