MATH 3250

This course was amazing and reiterated my love for math. The course is well-organized and worked very well over zoom, which is hard to do, especially for a math class. We were often sent into breakout room groups to discuss math problems, which was great because I got to meet other students in the class. Professor Bourdon is passionate, kind, and clearly cares about his students. You could ask any question and he will not make you feel dumb for asking. Instead of traditional exams, he gave us oral exams (one-on-one zoom call where he asks questions and you answer), and somehow even these weren't as nerve-wracking as they could have been because Professor Bourdon was very encouraging during each exam. Our grade consisted of the oral exams, written homework, WebAssign homework, polling questions, and piazza posts. I found the workload to be very manageable and enjoyable, and I feel like I learned a lot.
