Grujic is definitely the most chillest professor I've taken a class from. He doesn't make the material difficult so as long as you take some notes and know how to do some basic problems (from the hw or proofs in class) you'll be fine. He's very helpful in office hours, so if you're having trouble with the HW he's happy to help. Tests aren't that stressful, but that doesn't mean you should completely slack off. He tells you exactly what type of problems are gonna be on the tests so just follow that. I would recommend this class if you're looking for a math class that's straightforward and not too much work.
Zoran is obviously very smart but sometimes he confuses himself in class and makes minor mistakes that will confuse you. He is very nice inside and outside of class and wants you to do well and doesn't try to trick you like most other math professors. The textbook is almost unnecessary except for the homework problems which are not handed in. Exams are straightforward as he basically tells you the stuff that will be on them. They are easy but you still need to know some basic concepts from class. Read over your notes and the homework problems he assigned and you will be all set. Not difficult to get an A, but you either know the stuff or you don't.
Prof.Grujic is the best professor I've seen in UVA! We only have three midterms (no comprehensive final exam) and each of these consists of five easy problems to solve. They are basically the same problems as those in the homework! He's also very fun and make the class really interesting! You don't have to make a great effort to get an A, even an A+ in this class!
I really like Grujic. He only covers topics he thinks are important, and skips some of the more confusing sections in the book. He does not try to make the tests overly difficult. The text in this class (which is available online if you google the name, as well as the solutions to the problems) can be difficult to read, but if you have questions go to his office hours. He is flexible and will meet with you outside of office hours if you ask him. His exams and quizzes are similar to the problems he assigns for homework. #tcf2016
Prof. Grujic is a really nice professor (who will help you a lot during office hours...go to them!) and has pretty manageable tests and grades easily. He will take all your questions seriously and answer them as relevantly as possible. But it's all lecture, so you might get really bored during class. I found lecture helpful for knowing what was necessary and what wasn't (some parts of the chapters were not necessary at all for the semesters). He talks about what topics are on the tests during class so it's important to go to class to get that information.
Other stuff he talked about during class was example problems that were eerily similar to the assigned problems for that week. So, if you take the class with him, take notes and go to class and you will be fine.
I got an A+ in the class (losing only 2 points the entire semester), but somehow still feel as if I know nothing about probability. Grujic is a really nice guy, but he definitely babied us too much. The homework was very easy as the answers to all the odd questions were in the back of the book, so you knew right away if you did a problem wrong. The exams were even easier as Grujic told us ahead of time what specific topic each of the problems on the test was going to be on and then provided us with practice problems from the book on each topic to guide our studying. We weren't required to know anything besides these topics that he listed, so studying was a breeze. We also didn't need to know any proofs, which made it even easier. That being said, it made paying attention in class very hard (which wasn't really important since it was possible to get an A+ without paying attention). The content itself was very easy, and having taken AP Stat in high school made it even easier. I think the class average ended up being above a 90; not sure if he wound up curving down but he didn't sound like he planned on it. Overall, one of the easiest As I've ever gotten at UVa, but not a worthwhile course in terms of actually learning much.
