Pretty awful professor. Gives very unrealistic tests (five long questions, only one hour). Math isn't meant to be done quickly in an hour. The good thing is that his tests aren't that hard, but if you mess up just a little bit you're iced. Kuhn is an arrogant guy, loves to talk about his Princeton and Chicago education. Office hours are a waste of time since he usually looks at you like you're stupid whenever you ask a question. At least his jokes can be funny in a droll way sometimes.
Kuhn is a very enthusiastic professor and it's tries his best to make the class interesting, but there's only so much you can do with Calc 3 to make it interesting. Overall, homework isn't too bad and prepares you well for the tests. Tests are pretty easy and the average grade is usually in the high eighties, but that also means that he doesn't curve.
Any calc class is not going to be "fun" per se, but most math minds with find this class to be another calculation course focused on multiple dimension and variables. Kuhn teaches pretty well. Sometimes scatterbrained, but you can follow along 95% of the time. Homework is a weekly problem set out of the book, just like in high school.
