MATH 1310

Tim is amazing! He makes calculus fun and understanding for everyone. There is a quiz every week during discussion but Tim only takes the ten highest grades. There is a homework assignment due each week online and a written homework assignment due on fridays at 5. Most of the problems are tricky but GO TO OFFICE HOURS!! Like legit! He will help you with whatever you need assistance on. Also don't leave your cell phone on in class unless you want to bring in two dozens of cookies :-)

Great guy, makes understanding calculus very easy. There's a WebWork due every Tuesday as well as a short (~ 5 problem) written homework due every Friday. The written homeworks are tricky, but you have ample opportunity to get help and work through them before they're due at the end of the week. There are weekly quizzes every Thursday that are pretty easy.

Tim is very enthusiastic about the material and it is important to him that his class understands everything. That being said, the homework was unnecessarily difficult considering it's graded on accuracy. The webworks took forever compared to other classes. All in all he's a pretty good teacher.

Tim is so funny! He always brings cookie when we have midterms lol~ Although his written homework is really hard, his class is well-organized and clear. Recommended!!

Emerick is by far the best Math teacher I've ever had. A good grade in Calculus is possible with this teacher.
