I had Susan Mitchell as my instructor, but all the instructors teach the same material and grade each other's tests. Survey of Calc 2 is definitely easier than regular calc 2, but is unnecessarily difficult because you are expected to teach yourself at home before each class. Classes are meant to reinforce the material you learn through assigned videos and the textbook. Home grades don't count for too much of your grade, which is good because it's hard to get help on them when you need, especially if office hours don't fit your schedule. Prep and written homework assignments are a firm deadline, but the other homework can be extended. WebAssigns are nothing like the tests, its just a way to practice skills. Put extra emphasis on the practice tests, written homework, and class examples on the worksheets. Feeling confident on the other homework don't mean you'll do well on an exam. STUDY BEFORE THE WEEK OF EXAMS because office hours fill up on those weeks and its hard to get help or learn anything you don't understand last minute.
