Chris was a great professor. He is very fast-paced and can be difficult to keep up with, but he ALWAYS gives the opportunity for questions and is ALWAYS available outside of class. Tips for success: Go to his office hours/extra review sessions, go to the math tutoring center at Gilmer because they help a lot, and do the Webassigns and worksheets, but don't spend too much time on them because they don't really translate well to the exams. The webassigns are too easy for the exams and the worksheets are too complicated and never show up on the exams. Use your notes (don't really need the textbook), QUIZZES, and the biggest one: PAST EXAMS. He always gives those out so be sure to do those, write down what kinds of questions show up on a separate sheet of paper, and just google practice problems of what you find. Overall, not too terrible of a class, just be sure to keep up with the class, NEVER skip, and do practice problems all the time. I never took calculus coming out of high school, started the year with a D, followed these tips, and ended with a B.
