MATH 1210

Taking this class was a HUGE MISTAKE. Figuring that I got an A in Math 1210, I thought that this class was going to be about the same level. Turns out I was wrong. Chris is NOT a good teacher whatsoever. He is very monotone and awkward. He may know his material, but he is not very good at explaining it to the class. I quote: "I hate teaching Applied Calc II. It's a terrible class." I found lectures completely pointless to go to and utilized going to the Math Lounge or the Math Tutoring Lab-- that is how I learned the material that was supposed to be taught during class. He gives out weekly quizzes so you are required to go to class even though he doesn't take attendance. If you HAVE to take 1220 with Chris, I would highly recommend going to the Lounge and Lab to supplement as well as collaborating with other students. I would try and avoid Chris at all costs.

Chris is a terrible teacher. Do not take him. Grades harshly too. Weekly quizzes are harder than test questions. He will blame you, the student, for doing poorly, when in reality, it's his poor teaching. DONT TAKE APPLIED CALC II WITH CHRIS.

This guy is actually the worst teacher I've ever had. He just puts examples on the board without explaining how he got them. He wastes time teaching things we don't need to know and doesn't spend time on things we should. Spent most of my time in the math study lounge, almost pointless to even go to class. You are guaranteed not to learn a thing...AVOID THIS CLASS AT ALL COSTS
