not as easy as people say it is. dont be fooled by the first two tests because the material gets more complexed and there is no partial credit even though there is no multiple choice (which i thought was ridiculous). i went to office hours before every exam, which were awkward, and still did poorly because of the grading. overall, dont take this class and think it is a guaranteed A.
The class was at least twice the size that it should have been. This did not make it any easier for Mr. Pollio to teach the course; however, sitting through his class was about as engaging and effective as listening to a math textbook being read aloud. As was said before, the material for the class is deceiving as it becomes complicated very quickly. No partial credit on exams, which I feel is absurd for a math course of any kind. If you need a lower-level math course for the sole purpose of fulfilling College of Arts and Sciences' area requirements, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. I found it to be miserable.
