Prof. Naegle is very kind and loves teaching this class and the concepts! You will do just fine if you show up to office hours and spend some extra time getting to know her and the TAs. Overall, the concepts can be a bit abstract, but they are really cool if you have any interest in genomics and understanding the current space of biomolecular data science. The only con is that the class is pretty disorganized in terms of the content, but checking in with the instruction team makes that manageable.
