Laura is a very nice career advisor who leads a pretty nice class for reflection. She tries her best to get every to be sociable during the conversations to share internship experience. Vulnerability and feedback are always appreciated in class. No one in my class really made new friends, but everyone understood each other a little bit more. It also helps especially when everyone's internship probably are not perfect, and it is helpful to share experience to find ways to make a more personalized internship experience.
Assignments include an interview with two people from your internship organization, four internship check-ins just one paragraph long, and a workbook to reflect on possible career paths forward. There are some readings that you could do each week in preparation for the class. The big takeaway / message of this class is that there are many ways to accomplish your life goals. Laura is an awesome person, and I do recommend taking this class with her.
