I cannot imagine this easy an easy class for Dr. Dahshan to teach. Its an intensive class, mostly geared to complete beginners in the field -- yet, professor Dahshan approached with loads of compassion, care, and patience for her students. Its easy to get discouraged with so much information at once, but Dahshan continuously reassured students of their success in the class, and always did her best to make sure that students were comprehending the materials.

Prof Dahshan is so sweet! She always made herself available for office hours and really tried to make sure everyone was understanding. She even did an office hour from 9am-5pm the day before the final which was awesome. A lot of the time I had no idea what was going on in this class, but it was never her fault lol. She does have a pretty thick accent so sometimes I found it hard to understand her, but you get used to it over the course of the semester. If you're really looking for an easy A, I would recommend the other professor because I have heard she does not have a midterm or a final, which we did have. The midterm and final were only worth 10% each so you didn't have to do very well on them to get a good grade in the class overall but still. She also curved the midterm and final. The rest of the coursework is really just homeworks and in class activities and online canvas quizzes that you do outside of class. None of it is too hard and I found it pretty satisfying when I could figure out what was going on.
