SOC 4540

I loved this class! I had Professor Driscoll during his first semester teaching and he was amazing. This class was definitely heavy on discussions, but if you don't like public speaking he gave other options to reach your participation grade. There were weekly discussion posts, but he was pretty lenient about missing a week or two or turning it in late. The class may have changed as it was his first semester, but we had one big group project, a 10 page paper, the weekly discussion posts, and participation as part of our grade. He is always open to recommendations on improving the class, which was great. I recommend this class to anyone when I get the chance. I learned a lot in this class and it was great to hear my classmate's perspectives.
