PSYC 5332

AYO do not take this class if you have no experience in Python. This is not your typical PSYC 5XXX in R. It's in Python and not only is it in Python, its in Pandas/Numpy in Jupiter notebook.

Other than that, the course was fantastic. Per was very knowledgeable and helpful, the TA was great, and both were very passionate about the work that they do. You contact them via Discord (never email Per) and on Discord they respond pretty quickly. I had no experience in python so I struggled the entire time so I will probably come out of the class with a B/B+ if I'm lucky. A handful of people came in without python and will probably score around the same.

There are no exams in this class. There are weekly homework assignments (which are easy), small projects (can be very challenging), and a final project that make up the bulk of your grade (along with attendance/participation).

Overall, total W of a class for coders/data analytics people, and a bit of struggle for everyone else. Take STAT 1602 before taking this class if you want to succeed
