GETR 3590

This was a great class. Grossman and Koerte (they taught it together) are interesting and laid back. Koerte has two PhDs in fairy tales (or something along those lines) and knows a ton. Grossman does a good job of driving class discussion and asking interesting questions. I learned a lot about fairy tales and their adaptations (spoiler alert - majority are very messed up). Very easy second writing requirement. Grades are based on an open note midterm (three essays), a partner presentation on a topic of your choice, and a final paper. They are fairly easy graders and it seems like they mostly want to see you thought about the topic and made connections. #tcf2016
