There was a ton of reading in this class, so make sure that you really like the topic. I'm not the biggest fan of historical novels, so that was my first mistake. Class was mostly an introduction to the book, topic, and key phrases. Then the other day was a discussion class where students would have talk about different parts of the novel and their interpretation of certain themes. Sometimes it was small group discussion but usually it was full class.
