She's honestly the sweetest person ever. Very understanding with personal circumstances and really wants you to enjoy the class. The readings did get a little hefty towards the end of the semester, but skimming is honestly fine. I took this class for my SWR and I'm honestly so happy I took this class. I'm definitely not much of a poetry person, but the class was enjoyable. Essays were fairly graded with a lot of feedback. Not sure how the following semesters are going to go, especially if it's online but for us, it was essentially optional. She posted the recordings on collab for us to watch later if we wanted to. We also did blog posts and optional online group annotations.
