Really knowledgeable professor and manageable coursework - especially if you’ve read Austen before. This class is what you make of it in many ways in choosing topics for a presentation and final project. Definitely easy to get the grade you want for this course if you put the work in and if you have interest in Austen you’ll find out a lot more about her life and the context around it in literature.

If you like Jane Austen, take this class. If not, do not take it - you will be pretty weirded out at times and it will be hard to be motivated to keep up with the course material. Also, go to office hours before papers are due because Brad's directions can be vague and confusing... however, if you go talk with him he'll be very helpful.
