CS 4760

A very rewarding class. Class is super interactive with a lot of in-class activities (easy points if you just try) The best class in the CS department in my opinion.

Class isn't terribly difficult if you try. You just need to go to office hours to get the answers instead of wasting hours on your own trying to figure it out. Overall Abrahim is pretty smart and nice but not the best professor. A lot of the activities we do aren't functional or fully compatible on most OS or configurations which is very frustrating. To make matters worse Abrahim doesn't care as long as it works on most and is unreachable a lot of the time. The TA in the fall Chris was a god send and was super helpful. Unfortunately there's only two OH a week so alot of the times you need to get the answers within those two periods of times. I dedicated my whole Sunday solely to doing the HW for this class.

Not a terrible class, but not a great one either. A lot of the assignments are worthless and easy, while others take hours and make no sense. The first exam was cake compared to the second, which was noticeably more difficult. Teacher is okay, sometimes he is standoffish and rude. If you do the work and go to class you will probably do fine.

Fairly average course. I found some of the topics to be interesting. If you go to class he will tell you some of the questions that are gonna appear on the exam. Some of the assignments are easy and there are only a few that actually take a lot of time. TA's are really nice and are able to assist you if you need help.

The assignments don't make any sense and have no correlation to the exams. Ibrahim is almost out to get you. Not a helpful teacher in the slightest. Least favorite teacher in the CS department by far. Material is interesting but he presents it in a way that is incomprehensible. Would not recommend
