I think that Professor May is a great teacher. He is passionate about the topics and tries to make lecture engaging. The class is all lecture with weekly discussion sessions where you review the weekly assigned readings. There are two papers, a midterm and a final. If you study and take notes during lecture then the class really isn't bad at all. I'd recommend taking it with a friend since lecture can be a bit dry at times, also because Prof. May doesn't upload his powerpoints to Collab so if you miss class you miss the notes. Overall, the class was very easy to follow along and great if you want an easier class for the semester.
