Easiest 100% you'll ever get. Mixed feelings on the professor: she is so caring and kind, but definitely quite crazy. (She will jump around the class and wave things over your head). The class is entirely about mindfulness practices, meditation, etc. Not the most enjoyable class, but you might be able to get some insights out of it if you want to.
You MUST pick this course to satisfy your Ethical Engagement. Dean Siedel is kind and thoughtful and has planned this class to be made for the benefits of the students. She truly cares about each student and makes the effort to make the class valuable. This class is new, but it is really much easier than any of the other options.
The grading is made up of daily journals, mindfulness practices, a group kindness project, attendance, and a final paper. She makes the grading system very clear. It is easy to know how to do well in this class. The rubrics are clearly written, and if you follow the rubric you will do well. I would highly recommend this course! It is a breath of fresh air and a class you will look forward to each day. It will be an easy A, but more than that it will be a good experience. I can genuinely say that if you go into this class with an open mind you will not regret it.
