This class is abstract, but definitely one of the good engagements. You only have to turn in a page double-spaced reflection every week and they are not graded hard. The readings are complex, but he explains them in class, and in your reflections, you are allowed to say that you were confused and didn't get it.
Wolfson is enthusiastic and pretty knowledgeable about the subject. I was a bit reluctant to take this course, but I ended up really enjoying it. "Enforcement" is about the different types of power that influence us (norms, political, etc).
There's a reading for each class and a 1 page reflection due once a week. Since the reading is so complex, most of the class is spent diving into key points and discussing the material. He makes sure to ask good questions and always ends up explaining the text really well. The readings really start to connect together, and by the end, you get a good sense of the topic. The final project was to connect current events to the reading or topics we discussed.
Overall, it was a really interesting class, I'd recommend it for this engagement.
