This course was pretty cool actually! It's more about the philosophy of lying rather than the psychological reasoning. Professor Bagaria is very knowledgeable on this topic. Before each class there's a required reading assignment which takes about an hour to go through. I would recommend taking notes because it helps to stay focused while reading. During class, Bagaria lectures and uploads his own lecture notes. At the end of the class he takes questions. Participation wasn't required for this semester. There were three group assignments which weren't hard at all and with a group it was actually kind of easier to do it. There's a final exam but he gave us a week to do it - he essentially asked us four questions that could be answered from either the lectures or readings. Not hard at all and could be done in just a few hours. The lectures were really hard to stay focused on so I had to re-watch the recordings after class. Overall a pretty enjoyable class! #tCFspring2021
