Walsh and Ferguson mostly kept a dialogue going between themselves, with little student engagement. This was fun, as the rapport shared between the two made the material far more interesting. You can definitely tell Walsh is passionate about the topics.

Super kind and patient, and was really understanding when it came to your learning! Great for an EGMT course, not too stressful or overwhelming, although the readings are quite long at times. Otherwise the content is pretty interesting, and he is an easy grader!

Hateinanny is an incredibly interesting that discusses fascism, anti-fascism, and the American far right. Professor Walsh does a really good job making the course timely and adapting his daily plans to give time for large class discussions about current events. Before each class, we had to submit a discussion post based on one of the readings (which were decently long). The class environment was very welcoming and I learned a ton. Would highly recommend taking this engagements class !
