Williams is a great professor and leads really engaging and controversial conversations that allow all of the opinions and personalities to come out of the students in the class. She is a very sweet professor but a pretty hard grader. There are a lot of essays, as it does count as a second writing requirement, and I think they are graded pretty harshly. The class is very interesting though and the conversations are very interesting so I recommend this class if you want a stimulating class about relevant topic discusing the different languages and dialects in the U.S.

Good at lectures. Readings were not too bad.
