STAT 5630

I was so excited to take this class. However, Minh is a horrible lecturer which makes class time a complete waste. He is not at all helpful outside of class time. That being said, he is a really nice person! The exam is very hard, and some of the homework problems are extremely difficult (although most are fair). The final project is pretty fun. I would recommend this class with Professor Holt, but not with Minh as the professor.

Mr. Pham is a terrible teacher though he is a nice person outside the class. The class is poorly constructed and badly taught. There are too many mistakes in his slides and it seems he can not explain the stuff he is teaching very well if we assume he understands it. Besides, he even changes the grading system at the last minute,making the grading extremely unfair and himself not professional at all. I Definitely don't recommend this class with him. It's a total waste of time. Take it with Professor Jeff Holt if possible!
