Really enjoyed the course- Milov is super knowledgeable, engaging, and creates a collaborative class environment. Readings are heavy, but interesting and related to class material. Writing assignments are well thought out and meaningful, and help students to get a good understanding of both course material and history as a discipline overall. Tests are fair and do a good job of synthesizing course material.

Really enjoyed this class. Professor Milov is really nice, and lectures are usually quite interesting. Grade is based on three in-class essay tests - no papers or other assignments. I felt the tests were graded very fairly. There is a good bit of reading because it's a history class, but very manageable workload overall. Would recommend.
