FREN 2010

I had a great experience in FREN 2010 with Madame Jaye! I found that the 2000-level French courses are taught in a bit of a different format than the 1000-level ones, with more learning through VHL assignments and reading outside of class and more emphasis on practice exercises and application in class, but it was very nice to have class only twice a week. I also loved the specs grading that was implemented in this course, where an 85 was a passing grade, and if you got this grade on a certain number of assignments, you would get an A. It took a lot of stress off and I felt that my French learning improved as a result. I also enjoyed the class environment that Madame facilitated and would recommend her, especially if you prefer a professor who is not a native French-speaker.
