(East Asian Cinema) Easiest A of your life. Watch a movie and sit through a weekly 2.5 hour discussion. Write one paper on whatever you want, do one project on whatever you want. Do one class presentation where you ask the class what they thought about the movie. The class itself is a bit of a slog but it's low-stress. An added benefit is that you get exposed to a lot of movies you probably wouldn't have seen otherwise!
East Asian Cinema with Prof. Goto was an amazing class. We basically met once a week to discuss the movie we watched the week before, posted 250 word responses weekly on Collab, and had 2 short essays as a midterm and final (less than 3000 words for both). Prof. Goto is also super lenient with grading and if you try your best she will give you an A. Highly recommend this class if you have any interest in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and/or Taiwanese films.
