My instructor was Mary Beth and she is the nicest person ever! Language classes on Zoom are kind of weird, we mostly read from the textbook and repeated what was said to us, then did activities out of the textbook. There was a lot of homework on the VHL website that could be tedious at times, but it did help solidify vocab and grammar that were seen on quizzes/exams. The difficulty of the class isn't bad, more so the workload, but I think that's the standard for any UVA language class.
