PHIL 2340

Class was not very difficult and some of the later topic were actually pretty interesting. The grade was constituted of 4 short papers throughout the semester and a final paper.

I wish I had never taken this class. While the material had the potential of being fascinating, the course itself, along with the boring lectures proved to be sub par. If you are looking to take a philosophy class, this is not the one to take. The later material was interesting but writing the papers was painful. Overall, a relatively easy class if you can structure cohesive arguments.

This course was as dry as sandpaper. I came into this class prepared to learn about exciting developments in computing and their implications for human society but ended up with lists of definitions. The readings and papers are excruciating and mind-numbing because the material is just so boring. Also, this class seems to attract some members of the tin foil hat crowd.
