EVSC 4559

I took water quality and public health and it was great. The class is 50% quizes and 50% paper/ 20 minute presentation on a topic of your choice. The quiz grade is an individual grade averaged with a group quiz grade. The quizzes are kind of hard but he gave us the questions ahead of time. The quizzes are on a scientific article he gives you. We had 2 quizes for the entire semester. You are not tested at all on lecture material. The paper is due 2 weeks after the presentation and is 7-10 pages double spaced. The presentation sounds hard but it's not bad at all. It goes by quick once you get up there. The last month of class is entirety presentations, doing 2 a day 3 days a week assuming enrollment of about 25. I got an A, it is a low work load. Great filler class. Most weeks you don't have to worry about it.
