Would only recommend the class if it's needed for the EVSC major. Simple class and the labs are very straightforward if somewhat dull. Only difficult part is the rock and mineral quiz where you need to memorize almost 100 rocks from their look (I know crazy), but because the entire first half of the semester is focused around these rocks, it's not too terrible. End project is easy if you put some effort in it.
