In theory an interesting class, but the class was disorganized. Mostly just weekly readings which aren't too bad with one final paper. Not too bad overall but not that interesting in practice. Not sure I would take the class again. Class attendance is a must though because it is relatively small.

This class was incredibly disorganized and dysfunctional. One of the many complaints I have is that we were expected to read for every class, but rarely discussed the material we read. My least favorite class I have taken at UVA. Would not recommend to anyone, ever.
