EVSC 2030

This class could be so much easier if it were not for the professor. She doesn't allow laptops so you have to take notes by hand except she doesn't have any guiding visuals except for a Prezi that she zooms by in the last 10 minutes of class and doesn't put online. I never knew what was worth writing down as notes but one thing she'll make sure you remember is how accomplished she is starting a lot of sentences with "When I was a Truman Scholar in Copenhagen..." and "When I was on Virginia's EPA Board...". If you're interested in the content simply enroll to nab her syllabus and then drop because I will admit that the readings are good (but also way too much).

This class is amazing. Vivian is incredibly knowledgeable and the readings/material are informative and make you question. However, Vivian is just about the most selfish person you've ever met. "No I will not help you think about internships, you can go talk to my fourth years" "Get out of my office and stop asking questions. You got an A on the last exam". A brilliant jerk.

TAs are great!

Professor Thomson can be a be proud of herself sometimes. She loves showing off her media interviews and sharing her publications. However, she is so qualified and knowledgeable about the subject that I can almost totally excuse it.
