Professor Ochs is incredible! She is so sweet and so passionate about what she does. She lectures are interesting and some even are interactive. I really enjoyed taking her class. The reflections are a good way to make sure you are understanding but they are only 500-600 words. There are ten total but up to you when you want to do them throughout the semester. Highly recommend!

This class is really fun! The topics were always interesting and engaging, and there was a lot of engaging discussion. Professor Ochs is super sweet and smart, and she really tries to foster a community feeling for the class. For the final, we got to write a paper or make a project on basically any topic we wanted, and she offers a lot of help and guidance. We also had weekly readings, had to post 4 short reading reflections over the semester, one group project, and one day where we guided discussion at the beginning of class. The only con is that Professor Ochs didn't give us any grades throughout the semester. However, she basically told us everyone in the class was doing well enough to get an A, and if you were concerned, she definitely would've talked with you about it. #tCF2020
