I love Dr. Leach! She explains things really well and always has interesting classes. However, she assigns so much work! I do believe taking a class with her is very rewarding if you're willing to put the work in! I've taken three classes with her now and I still think she's one of the best professors I've had at UVA. For Transnational Feminism, you will have to respond to discussion questions every week as well as lead a discussion at some point. You also have a midterm and short analysis paper. Some of this may have changed since I took her class during COVID, but I think she's a pretty fair grader and let's students really lead class and discussions.
