RELC 2215

I took this class with Laurie Laurie Maffly-Kipp and she is total chiller. This was genuinely my favorite class so far at UVA; if you have any passive interest in Mormonism (especially current social media stuff) then I 100% recommend this class-- I have a much more nuanced perspective after taking this class and think about it easily once a week. She was always bringing in Mormons to talk to us and even made our field exercise going to a local church (which was nerve-wracking but 100% worth it!) The class was 30% participation/discussion questions, 20% Field Exercise, 25% Mid-Term, 25% Final Project. She's a little bit of a tough grader on the papers but if you do well in the other areas an A is in your future.
