KINE 3210

Abby was a great professor and lecturer. Her exams are not super fair. This class was supposed to be an easy kine elective, but the exams were kind of annoying. The wording of them were very particular and sometimes it seems like we didn't talk about them in lecture. It's the type of class where it feels easy but then your grades don't reflect that (still ended up with a B+, which isn't horrible, but this isn't an easy A if you're looking for one). That said, the content was very interesting, and we often get guest lectures to come to class, so it was interesting to hear from so many different perspectives!

Exams are also take home since the class is only 50mins but the exams are around 80mins.

Overall this class was pretty chill. I took it online and we had to watch recorded lectures (~2-3 hours a week) and then there were supplemental videos, readings, and movies on similar content. Every week we had to do an online discussion board with a small group which was graded pretty harshly. Other than that, the grade was a few other assignments, one midterm test, and then a final project. The class was overall really interesting and engaging and Abby is a super kind professor who really wants you to succeed.
