Prof Costello is so nice and is SO patient with new poets, which most people in the class are. Beginning of the semester you read poems, but then the rest is workshop-style where you bring in poems and workshop each others' poems. So helpful and I really improved my poetry a lot. Not much HW besides writing poems in your notebook, and 1 take home paper, plus a final portfolio.
**Really recommend this class. Learned a lot and it was so worth it, even though I'm not an English major.
