This class was a pretty chill class. With everything online, it definitely lost some aspects of interaction and hands on learning but there is nothing really that could have been done. The lab was just scavenger hunt from google which was graded pretty harshly. Tests and quizzes were open note and everything was found in the textbook. Pretty easy class compared to other biology classes I've taken but no curve and A is 94. #tCF2020
I had an online experience with this class and the exams were open note which made it less stressful and it wasn't too difficult. The labs helped in solidifying where certain bones and body parts were with physical palpitations but the rest of it was just googling to answer difficult questions that didn't really apply to the lab in the first place and which were graded pretty harshly. Overall, interesting class and in a normal semester with closed note exams would probably be much more difficult. David seems like a really funny, nice guy! #tCF2020
This was a completely online course, which made it much easier. Exams were open note, and the lectures were asynchronous. I recommend getting a physical copy of the textbook as it helps with open note exams. Lab was online synchronous and pretty basic. You would have an activity, group challenge, and postlab quiz. Postlab quizzes were open note and not timed. My TA was Danhua Zhang, and I think she graded the group challenges harsher than other TAs. That was what I found out by talking to my friends in other sections.
