ENWR 1506

I CANNOT recommend this class enough!! Boy I wish I knew about her when I took 1505, but I'm glad I stumbled across her and took her for 1506. This class is laid out amazing! There were minimal readings (not too many, which is amazing), some discussion posts, and then there were three essays you had to write within the semester. In class, you can expect to talk about any of the readings you may do, or come time to write an essay, you will brain storm ideas typically as a whole class and discuss the topic that you're going to be writing about. Don't worry, the essays aren't boring and tend to be on the more personable side, so that makes it a bit better! But, the professor has you write the essays first, grades them, then later on towards the end of the semester she will have you go back and edit two of the three essays. Towards the end of the semester, she will spend more of the class periods going over revision techniques and having different "workshops" to help you when revising your essays. She will also have one-on-one meetings with you throughout the semester to discuss your essays and overall performance in the class, which I personally found helpful. Overall, she is just an amazing professor and she is not going to overwhelm you with work. It's very manageable and I cannot recommend this class enough!

Mrs. Chantell is the BEST! She doesn't give you too much work and is also very leanient when it comes to assignments. I would suggest just doing any an everything she assigns to you this is not a hard class at all she makes it worth your while. I love her personality and I will miss having class with her.
