ENMC 3500

I took Professor Luftig's "James Joyce's Ulysses" course. Luftig is a very engaging professor, really funny when he wants to be, and seemed genuinely invested in helping everyone get the most out of the readings. He's firm on deadlines and such but I never felt as though the workload was too heavy at any point. Class was pretty heavy on discussion but Luftig definitely makes sure to cover all of the information he wants you to know. I would imagine that Luftig would be a great professor for any course he decides to put up and if he does teach a Ulysses course again and you've had some desire to read it I would absolutely recommend taking this class. I think I got way more out of the book by taking a class on it than I would have if I had just picked it up one day.
