MATH 1190

I just want to say, Professor Demers is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is so (and I can't emphasize this enough) SO good at explaining concepts and you can tell he loves what he does. He never makes you feel stupid for asking a question or getting an answer wrong; he actually seems excited by it. He treats it like an opportunity to learn. If you get a question wrong, he'll say, "Ooo! Interesting. I see where you're going with that. Lets see, if we plug in that number here what would we get? ... Yeah, see, it seems that number wouldn't work. What other numbers could we try?" He's truly the sweetest professor I've ever had and I cant recommend him enough. Other students who come to his open office hours always remark on how good he is at explaining things. I was very luck to have him as a professor!
