ENLT 2514

Laura is the freaking best!! Not only of the most intelligent people I have ever met, but she is so invested in every single one of her classes. I was in her summer class which meant we were meeting everyday and had a high load of reading every night. She was very understanding and made sure to ask if the work load ever got too much, often shortening it for the reading for that night and extending deadlines for papers. She'll sit at the same table as the class and actively engage in conversations and discussions about the literature, making the class extremely enjoyable and informational. 60% of the grade is papers (3, all worth 20%) which she grades fairly as well as a presentation worth 15% that is graded fairly easy as long as you bring forth a compelling idea. Overall, if you participate and do the reading, this class is an easy and enjoyable A that comes with a pretty rad professor. Totally recommend!!

Laura is a GREAT professor. She'll challenge you, but she is very fair in her expectations. Class is basically based off of three papers, participation, and a final, but grading on papers is pretty fair. She's brilliant and super chill- if you go to her office hours she'll definitely help you out if you're struggling. Loved the class
