Professor Railton is amazing! He runs his own discussions which is so beneficial to students. He really gets to know you and how you understand novels. He is always open to new interpretations of books which is refreshing. If you have the chance to take a class with him, do it! You will not regret it.

I didn't do well on the first paper, but still appreciated his comments. I feel like he responded with the intent to really see my writing improve rather than just tear it apart
