Loved this class! Interesting topics and while readings are a bit dense, Ellcessor goes over them well in class. When I took this class, there were four short (2-3) page essays that were very broad but Ellcessor isn't a very harsh grader and responds to emails quickly. I would run your ideas with her as she gives great feedback and will help guide the process of building a strong, coherent argument.

I really enjoyed the structure of this class. The four essays all revolved around a single tech company that you got pick at the beginning of the semester. Everyone picks their own company and you write about their corporate culture, design, etc...This is good because you'll learn a lot about your company by the end of the semester and the final project (10 page paper and infographic/podcast) will let you apply all that you've learned. If you put effort into this, you can walk out of the class with something on your portfolio too! You'll definitely do well if by the end of the semester you can confidently spell Ellcessor. Get to know her, she's very funny, smart, and caring.
