ENGL 3810

Prof Fowler really loves what she does. She puts a lot of energy into her lessons and she really tries to make them engaging. She is super approachable and eager to help her students in any way that she can. It is super easy to get lost if you don't read. I didn't read and I managed to pull out an A- ...but I imagine the class would have been much easier (and more meaningful if I had). As far as TAs go, Adam is the best. He really prepares you for the exams and he is laid back/ cool. He knows his stuff too.

This class sucks. The professor reads off of a script every single class and the lectures are all over the place. The discussion preps are a bit of time wasters and get really old really fast. It's not even a hard class-- it's just super boring and uninteresting.

Fowler is a little wacky and disorganized in her lecture style, but the class is fun and easy and interesting! Required for all English majors, but definitely not a burdensome requirement.
