RELB 5520

I took this class for my second writing requirement. This class is actually for graduate students, but undergraduate students can also take this class for SWR. There was a midterm and final paper (10 page each for SWR) and 2 comments that you needed to post on the collab before Tuesday and Thursday each week. There was also an online section where you posted a question after doing the readings (you need to have 15 questions overall by end of semester). I am a transfer student from CC, so I took this class to complete my SWR requirement. The class was not bad at all, and I would consider it an easy A. This class is also merged with 2770 (majority of the students were in this part of the class). 5520 had few students so it didn't violate the 30:1 student to teacher ratio and so Hudson wanted me to stay in 5520. Both classes get same assignment, but 2770 write less (3 page and 5 page for midterm and final). Either way, this class is not that bad and his grading is not that harsh (89 on midterm and 88 on final); I would participate here and there, but don't miss any classes because attendance is part of grade unless you are sick then he can excuse you. I ended up with an A (94)!
