Association for Women in Mathematics at UVA

Club Description

The purpose of AWM at UVA is to create a community in which women and gender minorities can thrive in their mathematical endeavors, and to promote equitable opportunity and treatment within the UVA Department of Mathematics and across the mathematical sciences. We hold biweekly general meetings to host activities such as roundtable discussions, panels, and informal meet-and-greets. We also host one-off events like lunches with professors.
